Penpal from Thailand

Another piece of mail I got today was a pretty, traditional card from my penpal, View, from Thailand! :) On the front of the card shows a beautiful boat called 'su-pan-na-hong', which the Thai King rode on during wars in the past. It was also used for religious ceremonies. Behind the boat is a temple called 'Wat-ar-run', which was built over 200 years ago. Thanks so much, View, for this card and for sharing info. about it! I enjoyed reading it and learning about the Thai culture/tradition! :) That's what I love about snail mail- getting to learn about different cultures and traditions from all over the world! :)
